AutoCAD Draughtsman

Job OverviewWe are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Kitchen Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the face of our design studio, transforming our clients' visions into functional, beautiful, and modern modular kitchen spaces. As an MSME, we value versatility; you will handle projects from the initial client consultation and 3D modeling to material selection and coordinating with the installation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meet with walk-in clients or leads to understand their lifestyle, budget, storage needs, and aesthetic preferences.
• Space Planning & Design: Measure sites (or interpret architectural blueprints) to create optimized kitchen layouts, choosing the right modules, hardware, and accessories.
• 3D Modeling & Rendering: Develop detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, and high-quality 3D renders using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, or specialized modular kitchen software.
• Material & Product Selection: Guide clients through selecting materials (carcass, shutters, finishes like laminate/acrylic), countertops, handles, and built-in appliances.
• Quotation & Sales: Prepare transparent, accurate cost estimates and design proposals. Overcome objections to close the sale.
• Project Execution Support: Prepare final production drawings (Bill of Materials/BOM) for the manufacturing unit and coordinate with site supervisors/carpenters to ensure the design is executed flawlessly.
• ## Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience specializing in modular kitchen design (experience in a boutique studio or MSME environment is a plus).
• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and 3D rendering software (SketchUp + V-Ray, 2020 Design, or similar).
• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of kitchen ergonomics (the work triangle), plumbing/electrical layouts, and modular hardware (e.g., Hettich, Blum, Hafele).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, patience with clients, and a problem-solving mindset.
