Job Summary

The Cafe Manager is responsible for overall café operations, team management, sales performance, customer satisfaction, hygiene standards, and compliance with company policies. The role ensures smooth daily operations and achievement of business targets.

• Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day café operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Lead, train, and supervise baristas, chefs, and service staff
• Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance & discipline
• Monitor sales, control costs, and achieve revenue targets
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle guest complaints professionally
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and FSSAI compliance at all times
• Oversee inventory, stock ordering, and vendor coordination
• Ensure POS (billing), KOT, and cash handling accuracy
• Implement company SOPs, policies, and brand standards
• Coordinate with senior management and submit daily/weekly reports
• RequirementsMinimum 2–5 years experience in café, QSR, or restaurant management
• Strong leadership and team-handling skills
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and café operations
• Ability to work in rotational shifts
• Basic computer knowledge (POS, Excel, reports)
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Job Title: Shift Manager

Job Summary

The Shift Manager is responsible for managing assigned shifts, staff coordination, service quality, and operational discipline to ensure smooth café operations during their shift.

• Key Responsibilities Manage café operations during the assigned shift
• Supervise baristas, kitchen, and service staff
• Ensure timely opening/closing of the café as per SOP
• Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are followed
• Handle billing, cash, and shift-wise sales reports
• Control wastage and ensure proper stock usage
• Resolve customer issues and escalate when required
• Ensure staff follows uniform, grooming, and behavior standards
• Requirements1–3 years' experience in café, restaurant, or QSR operations
• Ability to manage teams under pressure
• Good understanding of customer service and hygiene standards
• Willingness to work in day/night rotational shifts
• Basic POS and billing knowledge
• Strong communication skills
