Civil Site Engineer

Responsible for on-site civil engineering supervision and site management for a new multi-storey building project. Ensure work is executed to drawings, specifications, safety standards, schedule, and budget while coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities: foundations, RCC works, formwork, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and external works.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings; ensure work complies with design and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, and construction methods; carry out regular inspections and quality checks; raise NCRs/observations and ensure corrective action.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, site staff, and third-party agencies.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress records, site instructions, and as-built documentation.
• Track project schedule, report progress to Project Manager, and assist in maintaining project timelines.
• Assist in quantity measurements, bill verifications, and site cost control; support monthly payment certification.
• Ensure implementation of site safety procedures, PPE usage, housekeeping, and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Manage material requisitions, storage, and onsite testing (concrete cube tests, slump, etc.) and coordinate with QA/QC and lab agencies.
• Support coordination with consultants, architects, MEP teams, and local authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Assist in commissioning, handover documentation, and close-out activities.
