Job Description

Company profile: BDC Distribution Pvt. Ltd. is involved in distribution of Specialty Chemical products on behalf of various Multinational Corporations, manufacturing key raw materials for the Paint, Adhesives, Cosmetics, Plastics & Construction Industries, on pan-India basis.

We employ 60+ people, working through 08 sales offices located across India. We service over 1000 key customers throughout India.

 

Designation: Customer Support Executive

Job Location: D-6, Sector -2 Noida

 

Working Hours: The normal working hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. 5 days a week (2 Saturdays off)

 

Job Purpose: To provide back-office support to a set of Internal & External Customers. The job will include being an interface between the Manufacturer (Principal) & the End Customer.

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

 

a. To respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone, internet and Email.

b. To handle the Sampling Process

c. To generate / manage existing Sales Contacts

d. To Create Sales Leads

e. To send Proforma invoice / quotations to customers

f. Sending customer opening forms for creating new customers & updating information in ERP, placing sales orders.

g. To coordinate between Logistics, Accounts functions to enable timely dispatch of material.

h. To follow-up on pending collections / statutory forms / orders etc. with the customers / Sales force.

i. Management of Sample Inventory on ERP & conducting routine Stock takes of sample inventory, follow-up of sample feedback from customers & forwarding the same on desired formats to the principal & order replenishment of inventory, as desired.

j. Coordinating for various details from the clients regarding sampling, dispatch, invoices, including supervising the dispatch of all materials.

k. To prepare timely reports & forward to Principals, pertaining to new customer openings, future predicted sales and other MIS reports.

l. Up-keep of Principles and Clients database.

m. Maintaining the Daily Sales Reports.

n. Lead generation for Sales force from Internet, Primary / Secondary data.

o. Inventory planning of materials based on gathered sales forecasts (from customers / Sales force) & coordinating with Logistics / Distribution Management.

 

Skills/Qualifications

 

a. Under grad from a reputed university (preferably in BSc. Chemistry)

b. Good Computer skills (MS Office especially Excel V look up, Pivot table etc.)

c. Comfortable working in ERP environment (preferably in MS NAV)

d. Strong Communication (spoken & written) skills.

e. Self-starter, dynamic and keen to learn new skills.
