The role involves explaining insurance products, generating leads, scheduling appointments, following up on inquiries, and helping achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesMake outbound calls to potential customers using company-provided leads.Explain life, health, motor, or general insurance products and their benefits.Understand customer needs and recommend suitable insurance plans.Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for sales executives (if applicable).Follow up with interested customers and policyholders.Assist customers with policy renewals and basic policy-related queries.Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM system.Meet daily, weekly, and monthly calling and sales targets.Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.Required QualificationsMinimum qualification: 12th Pass (Graduate preferred).0–2 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, or customer service (insurance experience is an advantage).Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome.Skills RequiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Persuasive and confident speaking ability.Good listening and objection-handling skills.Basic computer knowledge (MS Office/CRM).Ability to work under targets and deadlines.Customer-focused approach and positive attitude.Preferred ExperienceExperience in insurance, banking, financial services, or BPO/telecalling.Knowledge of insurance products and sales techniques.Salary & BenefitsFixed salary: ₹15,000–₹30,000 per month (depending on experience).Attractive incentives based on performance.Training and career growth opportunities.Paid leave and other company benefits as per policy.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Number of outbound calls made per day.Qualified leads generated.Appointment conversion rate.Policy sales or renewal conversions.Customer satisfaction and follow-up quality.Achievement of monthly sales targets.This JD can be customized for Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, or General Insurance roles depending on the company's products and sales process.
