Job Description
The Junior Accountant supports the accounting department by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
* Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
* Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
* Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
* Support payroll processing and related accounting entries.
* Assist with budget preparation and expense monitoring.
* Ensure accuracy of financial data and documentation.
* Help prepare tax returns and support tax compliance activities.
* Assist during internal and external audits.
* Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
* Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
