BooksOnlineIndia.com is an ecommerce platform for books, stationery items, backed by Bhagwati Infomedia. We're building out our digital presence and publisher network, and looking for a sharp, energetic intern to join the journey.
About the Role
Work directly under an industry professional with 25+ years of digital marketing experience. You'll get hands-on exposure to Ecommerce SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) — some of the most in-demand skills in digital marketing today — while also getting real-world field experience in publisher onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Ecommerce SEO initiatives: keyword research, on-page optimization, product listing improvements
- Assist with AEO/GEO projects — optimizing content for AI search engines and answer engines
- Conduct field visits in the Sai Sarak market to identify and meet potential publishers
- Pitch and onboard new publishers as sellers on BooksOnlineIndia.com
- Maintain records of publisher meetings, follow-ups, and conversions
- Assist with content, listings, and basic marketing collateral as needed
Who We're Looking For
- Pursuing/recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Genuine interest in digital marketing, ecommerce, and SEO
- Comfortable with field work and face-to-face meetings with publishers/vendors
- Good communication skills (Hindi and English)
- Self-starter, willing to learn, comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team
