About Canco
Canco Fasteners is a Delhi-based industrial fastener manufacturer and government-recognised export house established in 1967. We supply fasteners, anchor bolts, threaded rods, and precision hardware to 70+ countries across construction, rail, telecom, and renewables sectors. This role sits at the heart of our growth engine — driving both domestic and international sales.
Role Summary
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated Sales & Operations Executive to own and grow our customer base across domestic and export markets. 80% of this role is pure sales — lead generation, follow-ups, quotations, and closures. The remaining 20% covers operational support including documentation, product listings, and coordination with the factory. We prefer female candidates. The ideal person is proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, family-run manufacturing environment with direct, hands-on leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales (80%)
• Manage and follow up on inbound leads from IndiaMART — respond promptly, qualify buyers, and convert to orders
• Actively generate new leads across domestic and export markets through cold outreach, email, and online platforms
• Procure rates from the factory and external vendors to prepare competitive quotations
• Prepare and send Proforma Invoices (PIs), Purchase Orders (POs), and commercial offers to clients
• Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions diligently; maintain a clean pipeline in Excel or CRM
• Build and maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business
• Handle both domestic (India) and international (export) inquiries; coordinate with the senior accountant for export documentation if required
Operations & Admin (20%)
• Create and update product listings on IndiaMART — upload images, write product descriptions, and keep listings current
• Add products to the company website — upload images, add descriptions and specifications (no technical or coding knowledge required)
• Handle day-to-day email correspondence with clients and vendors professionally
• Support general office administration and coordination as required
Requirements
• Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, or similar preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing, trading, or industrial products company
• Comfortable handling both domestic and export/international inquiries
• Proficient in MS Excel, Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Drive), and email communication
• Able to prepare PIs, POs, and basic commercial documents independently
• Familiar with IndiaMART — managing leads, responding to inquiries, and updating listings
• Comfortable creating simple product images or working with image tools to prepare listings
• Based in or near South Delhi / Safdarjung Enclave area (preferred)
• Mature, reliable, and comfortable working in a direct, family-run work environment
