Job Description

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for the Delhi business.

• Record and verify all financial transactions in the accounting system.

• Ensure proper accounting treatment of sales, purchases, expenses, inventory movements, and other business transactions.

• Maintain ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation. Invoicing & Billing

• Generate and manage invoices for customers, distributors, quick-commerce partners, and other business channels.

• Ensure timely and accurate billing for all transactions.

• Coordinate invoice creation for stock transfers, sales orders, and marketplace transactions.

• Track pending invoices and resolve discrepancies. Marketplace & Quick Commerce Reconciliation • Reconcile sales, payments, commissions, deductions, claims, and settlements from Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Swiggy, Zomato, and other online channels.

• Verify platform settlement reports and ensure accurate accounting of receivables.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in payments, deductions, and claims.

• Coordinate with platform account managers for issue resolution. Bank & Fund Reconciliation.

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.

• Monitor collections, receipts, and fund transfers.

• Reconcile customer payments, marketplace settlements, and vendor payments.

• Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding receivables. Inventory & Stock Accounting

• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to track inventory movements.

• Account for stock transfers between Delhi and Varanasi operations.

• Reconcile physical inventory with accounting records.

• Monitor inventory-related discrepancies and investigate variances. Inter-Office Coordination

• Work closely with the Varanasi accounts team to ensure accurate accounting across entities and locations.

• Reconcile inter-branch transactions, stock transfers, and financial records.

• Ensure consistency of financial data between Delhi and Varanasi offices.

• Support management with consolidated financial information when required. Vendor & Expense Management

• Process vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable records.

• Verify expenses and supporting documents.

• Monitor outstanding vendor balances and payment schedules.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and approval processes. Taxation & Compliance Support

• Assist with GST compliance, reconciliations, and documentation.

• Maintain records required for audits and statutory compliance.

• Support external accountants, auditors, and consultants with required financial data.

• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping. Financial Reporting & MIS.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.

• Generate sales, profitability, receivables, payables, and reconciliation reports.

• Provide management with accurate MIS reports and business insights.

• Support budgeting and financial planning activities. Process Improvement & Controls

• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls.

• Ensure accuracy, transparency, and financial discipline across operations.

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in financial workflows.


Required Qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5+ years of accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Advanced proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software.

• Experience handling GST, invoicing, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
