Job Description
Job Title: Team Leader – Personal Loans
Job Summary:
The Team Leader – Personal Loans is responsible for managing a sales team focused on sourcing and disbursing personal loans. The role involves driving sales targets, monitoring team performance, ensuring compliance with lending policies, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales executives/relationship officers for personal loan products
- Drive team to achieve monthly and quarterly disbursement targets
- Monitor daily sales activities (calls, meetings, logins, approvals, disbursals)
- Provide on-field support and guidance to team members
- Recruit, train, and mentor new team members
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, KYC norms, and compliance guidelines
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams for smooth loan processing
- Track pipeline and conversion ratios; improve team productivity
- Handle customer escalations and ensure high service standards
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Graduate (MBA preferred)
- 2–5 years of experience in personal loan / unsecured loan sales
- Prior team handling experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of lending processes, documentation, and KYC norms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Target-driven with strong sales orientation
