Job Description
🎬 We’re Hiring: Video Editor — Ghitorni, Delhi NCR
Matri is looking for a talented Video Editor who also knows camera operation. Someone who can shoot crisp visuals and turn them into engaging short-form and long-form stories. If you love storytelling, understand both frame and timeline, and live for a perfect grade + punchy edit — we want you.
Location: Ghitorni, Delhi (Work from Office — Full Time)

What you’ll do
Shoot and edit high-quality video content for social (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) and long-form platforms (YouTube, brand films, explainers).
Operate cameras on set: DSLRs / Mirrorless.
Create compelling edits: pacing, rhythm, storytelling, cutdowns, teasers, trailers.
Must-have skills & tools
Camera:
Confident camera operation: framing, exposure, focus, white balance, rolling slate.
Knowledge of frame rates, shutter angles, codecs, and capture settings for different deliverables.
Editing & Post:
Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (expert level).
DaVinci Resolve (editing + color grading).
Adobe After Effects (motion graphics & VFX).
Audio: Adobe Audition, Fairlight or comparable tools.
Photoshop / Lightroom for stills and thumbnails.
Short-form specialties:
Native understanding of vertical formats, quick cuts, sound design for short attention spans, captioning/subtitling, trend-aware editing (memes, hooks, transitions).
Experience in repurposing long form into high-impact short form.
