Store Keeper

Job Summary:

The store keeper is responsible for managing inventory and movement of raw materials (wire rods), semi-finished goods, and consumables such as dies, punches, etc. The role ensures accurate stock control, traceability by size/grade, and uninterrupted material flow across heading, threading, heat treatment, and finishing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain stock of wire rods, WIP (headed/threaded parts), finished screws, and consumables
• Handle inward material: verify size, grade, weight, and prepare GRN
• Issue material to production (heading, threading, heat treatment, plating) as per requirement
• Store all items size-wise, grade-wise, and coating-wise with proper labeling
• Ensure FIFO and batch/heat traceability
• Maintain records: stock register, bin cards, GRN, issue entries
• Monitor minimum stock levels and inform for reordering
• Manage tooling inventory (dies, punches, thread rolls)
• Record and segregate scrap/rejections
• Coordinate with production, purchase, QC, and dispatch teams

Preferred Experience:

• 1-3 years in a manufacturing or engineering unit
• Experience handling the store for a fasteners related industry
