JOB DESCRIPTION Designation: Electrician Property: Eco-Tourism Resort | Dewas, Madhya Pradesh Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Resort Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Design and construct bamboo furniture — chairs, tables, beds, shelves, dividers
• Create bamboo-based décor elements — wall panels, ceiling work, lamp shades, frames
• Build and maintain cottage interiors using bamboo, wood, cane, jute, and natural materials
• Construct outdoor structures — bamboo pergolas, pathway railings, gazebos, signage boards, fencing
• Fabricate eco-friendly elements for restaurant, café and banquet areas — menu stands, display units, partitions
• Repair and maintain all existing bamboo and wooden structures on property
• Work with resort design team / manager to create custom pieces as per theme
• Source and select quality bamboo, wood and natural materials with guidance from management
• Ensure all work meets safety standards — no sharp edges, proper finishing, stable structures
• Maintain tools and workshop area in clean and organized condition

Required Skills

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in carpentry, with proven bamboo work experience
• Creative mindset — ability to visualize and execute design ideas
• Knowledge of bamboo treatment, drying, and preservation techniques
• Ability to work with natural materials — cane, jute rope, driftwood, coconut shell, stone inlay
• Basic knowledge of measurements, sketching and reading simple design drawings
• Physically fit for outdoor and indoor construction work

Preferred Qualifications

• ITI certificate in Carpentry or related trade (preferred, not mandatory)
• Prior experience in resort, hotel, or eco-tourism property preferred
• Local candidate from Dewas / Madhya Pradesh preferred

Salary As per MP minimum wages (Skilled category) + negotiable based on experience and skill level

About the Role
