Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Admissions & SalesLocation: Hubballi–Dharwad, Karnataka

About the RoleVendatu is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive admissions for our JEE & NEET Foundation Courses and JEE & NEET Coaching Programs for PU Students. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in educational sales, admissions, relationship management with schools and colleges, student counselling, and conversion of leads into admissions.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDrive student admissions for Vendatu's JEE & NEET Foundation and PU programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, PU colleges, principals, and management teams across the Hubballi–Dharwad region.
- Conduct student and parent counselling sessions to guide them in choosing the right academic program.
- Handle the complete admission cycle, from lead generation to counselling, follow-ups, and successful closures.
- Organize and conduct seminars, career guidance sessions, workshops, and promotional events in schools and colleges.
- Generate leads through institutional tie-ups, referrals, educational events, and field activities.
- Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and events.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and daily activity reports.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in any discipline
- 2–5+ years of experience in educational sales, admissions, or business development.
- Experience working with coaching institutes, schools, colleges, or EdTech organizations is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and counselling skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with educational institutions.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.
- Preferred Candidate ProfilePrior experience in JEE/NEET coaching, Foundation programs, or the education sector.
- Strong network among schools, PU colleges, and educational institutions in the Hubballi–Dharwad region.
- Passion for student counselling and helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Capable of independently planning and executing admission campaigns and seminars.
