Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Dodda Ballapur. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. Responsibilities also include analyzing inventory levels, forecasting requirements, and ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support operational goals and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management, procurement processes, and cost analysis
- Experience in inventory control, vendor evaluation, and contract management
- Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and distribution processes
- Proven ability to analyze market trends and source high-quality materials effectively
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication, leadership, and team management abilities
- Familiarity with renewable energy or manufacturing industries is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems and MS Office
