Job Description
An Accountant Admin manages daily bookkeeping and office tasks while ensuring the company stays compliant with basic tax obligations.
Tax-Specific Duties
- Tax Documentation: Collects and organizes receipts, invoices, and records needed for VAT, GST, or Sales Tax filings.
- Preparation: Assists in preparing monthly, quarterly, or annual tax returns and ensuring timely submissions to avoid penalties.
- Compliance: Monitors changes in tax laws to ensure the company’s financial records follow current regulations.
- Withholding: Manages payroll-related taxes, such as income tax deductions and social security contributions.
The Hybrid Balance
- Finance: Invoicing, bank reconciliations, and ledgers.
- Admin: Office logistics, scheduling, and record filing.
- Tax: Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors or tax consultants.
