Job Description
An HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Their role is to ensure comfortable, safe, energy-efficient, and code-compliant indoor environments in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. They perform load calculations, select equipment, prepare technical drawings and specifications, supervise installation, troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. HVAC engineers also focus on optimizing system performance, reducing energy consumption, and supporting successful project delivery from design through commissioning and maintenance.
