Sales Engineer

We are a building materials and industrial products company based in Kochi looking for a technically-minded Sales Engineer to drive business in the project and industrial segment across Ernakulam. This is not a routine sales role — you will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, interior designers, and manufacturing units to understand their processes and recommend the right products for their specific applications.

• Architects, structural engineers & contractors
• ACP, Glass & UPVC fabricators
• Interior designers & fit-out contractors

What You'll Do:

• Visit industrial units, manufacturing facilities, project sites, and design studios
• Understand customer production processes, project requirements, and pain points
• Recommend and present the right products based on technical suitability
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations at client sites
• Follow up on project enquiries and convert them into orders
• Liaise with architects and engineers to get products specified in their projects
• Support customers with product application guidance and after-sales technical assistance
• Track ongoing projects in your territory and ensure timely order closure
• Report competitor products, pricing, and market intelligence regularly
• Identify and develop new accounts in the industrial and project segment

What We're Looking For:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc in Mechanical, Civil, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Freshers with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings or product specs is a plus
• Good communication in Malayalam; basic English for technical discussions
• Confident, curious, and self-motivated — someone who enjoys understanding how things work
• 2-wheeler with valid driving licence (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel within Kerala for client visits
