Overview

The Academic Counsellor will guide students in making informed academic and career decisions, support their learning journey, and help them achieve their educational goals. The role requires strong communication, counselling skills, and the ability to connect with students from diverse academic backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic guidance and counselling to students regarding course selection, career paths, and educational planning.
• Conduct student orientation sessions, workshops, and mentoring sessions.
• Help students understand academic policies, curriculum requirements, and institutional processes.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely support to address academic challenges.
• Maintain student records and prepare reports related to counselling activities.
• Coordinate with faculty and administrative teams to support student development.
• Assist students in managing stress, time management, and study-related issues.
• Guide students about available resources, scholarships, and opportunities.
• Handle student inquiries through calls, emails, and walk-ins.
• Participate in admission counselling, enrollment activities, and outreach programs if required.
