AutoCAD Draughtsman

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for aluminium doors, windows, curtain walls, façades, and glazing systems.
• Develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings as per project requirements.
• Create sectional details, elevation drawings, layout plans, and assembly drawings.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and convert them into execution-ready drawings.
• Coordinate with the sales and project teams to understand customer requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
• Modify drawings based on site conditions and client feedback.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
• Coordinate with production and installation teams to minimize execution errors.
• Assist in quantity estimation and material calculations wherever required.
• Support new product development initiatives.

• Timely completion of drawings as per project timelines.
• Accuracy and error-free shop drawings.
• Reduction in drawing revisions due to internal errors.
• Faster turnaround time for customer approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (experience in aluminium doors, windows, façade, or construction industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D knowledge is a plus).
• Understanding of aluminium systems, glass specifications, and hardware components preferred.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred SkillsExperience in façade or fenestration industry.
• Knowledge of fabrication drawings and site execution.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or other design software is an added advantage.
