Job Description: House Chef

We are looking for a reliable and skilled House Chef to prepare fresh, hygienic, and high-quality meals for a private household.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and beverages.
• Cook Indian, continental, healthy, and customised meals as per family preference.
• Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Plan weekly menus and suggest healthy meal options.
• Handle grocery planning, stock checking, and kitchen inventory.
• Ensure food is prepared on time and served properly.
• Prepare special meals for guests, small gatherings, and family events.
• Follow dietary requirements such as low-oil, high-protein, diabetic-friendly, or Jain/vegetarian/non-vegetarian meals if required.
• Maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas neatly.
• Avoid food wastage and manage ingredients efficiently.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a house chef, hotel chef, or personal cook.
• Good knowledge of Indian cuisine; knowledge of continental/healthy food will be preferred.
• Clean, disciplined, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
