Job Description
Job Title: Electrician– Home Appliances (Installation / Demo & Service)
Location: Sector - 18, Faridabad
Reporting To: Area Service Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
- The Area Technician will be responsible for carrying out installation, demonstration, preventive maintenance, and repair services for home appliances (such as Geyser, Ceiling fan, Water cooler, Mixer etc.) within the assigned territory.
- The role ensures timely and quality service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and demo of home appliances at customer premises as per standard procedures.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical faults in products efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with Area Service Manager / Call Centre for job assignments and escalations.
- Provide basic product education and usage guidelines to customers during installations and demos.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical (Polytechnic)
- Experience: 1–10 years of field service experience in installation and servicing of home appliances (preferably in consumer electronics or appliances industry).
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of installation and repair of household appliances.
Key Competencies:
- Technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer handling and communication abilities.
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned area as required.
Additional Information:
- Working Hours: 09:30 AM to 06:30 PM
- Benefits: Attractive monthly bonus & gift
- Salary - 15,000 to 18000 Fixed (in hand)
- Conveyance - 3 Rs per KM
