Hedging & Financial Risk Management (Core Focus)

• Identify, quantify, and monitor foreign currency and commodity exposures across projects and contracts.
• Design and implement structured hedging strategies (forwards, options)
• Evaluate hedge effectiveness and ensure compliance with Ind AS 109 (Hedge Accounting) requirements.
• Execute hedge transactions in coordination with FRM.
• Monitor MTM positions, hedge ratios, and exposure coverage; report variance and sensitivity analysis to management.
• Optimize hedge cost vs. risk coverage and provide timely advisory to management on market movements and strategy adjustments.
• Ensure documentation, compliance, and audit readiness for all hedging activities.
• Track global macroeconomic trends, interest rate movements, and commodity cycles impacting business exposures.

 Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
• Provide project-level profitability analysis and margin tracking.
• Deliver actionable financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Accounting & Reporting

• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Ensure timely book closure, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory filings.
• Develop MIS dashboards and performance reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Internal Controls & Risk Management: 

• Establish and strengthen the internal control framework to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.

 • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks through proactive controls and audits.

• Should have sound knowledge of direct and indirect taxation
