Job Title: Quality Inspector – Final Inspection

Department: Quality Assurance / PDI

The Quality Inspector – Final Inspection is responsible for ensuring that finished products meet all specified quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines before shipment. This role involves conducting visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring only compliant products are released.

• Key Responsibilities Perform final inspection of finished products prior to dispatch or delivery.
• Verify products against drawings, specifications, control plans, and customer requirements.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional checks using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Identify, record, and report non-conformances and defects.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection results, including inspection reports and checklists.
• Approve or reject products based on inspection findings.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure calibration and proper use of inspection tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Maintain inspection records for traceability and audits.
• Follow quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or customer-specific requirements.
• Support internal and external audits when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace procedures.
• Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of quality inspection processes and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Basic knowledge of quality tools (check sheets, NCR, 5 Why, etc.).
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
• Education - Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• & Experience. fresher or of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing quality control (final inspection preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing sectors such as automotive, machining, fabrication, or assembly is an advantage.
• Working Conditions Factory / manufacturing floor environment.
• May require standing for extended periods.
• Shift work or overtime as required.
