Job Overview

We are seeking a well-groomed, articulate, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our luxury fragrance boutique. The ideal candidate is passionate about perfumery, enjoys creating memorable client experiences, and has a genuine appreciation for designer and niche fragrance houses. This role requires strong product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients while achieving sales goals through personalized recommendations and premium service.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every client with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality.
• Conduct personalized fragrance consultations by understanding each client's preferences, lifestyle, and fragrance journey.
• Recommend designer and niche fragrances based on individual tastes, occasions, and scent profiles.
• Confidently explain fragrance notes, accords, concentration levels, longevity, projection, and the craftsmanship behind each perfume.
• Share the history, inspiration, and storytelling of luxury and niche fragrance houses to create a premium shopping experience.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell complementary products such as discovery sets, body care, travel sprays, gift sets, and layering combinations that enhance the client's fragrance wardrobe.
• Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
• Build long-term client relationships through personalized follow-ups, exceptional after-sales service, and clienteling to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Stay informed about new launches, exclusive collections, industry trends, and emerging niche fragrance brands.
• Maintain impeccable visual merchandising standards, ensuring displays reflect the boutique's luxury image.
• Process billing, payments, exchanges, and other store operations accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining product availability.
• Collaborate with the team to create an elevated boutique atmosphere and deliver a seamless luxury retail experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in luxury retail, premium beauty, fragrances, cosmetics, or hospitality is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of designer and niche fragrance houses, fragrance families, raw materials, and perfume terminology is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets through consultative selling and relationship building.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and storytelling skills.
• A polished, well-groomed appearance with a professional and confident demeanor.
• Passion for luxury retail, fragrance culture, and delivering world-class customer experiences.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and retail business hours.
