Tunnel Design Engineer (Rock Mechanics)

?Detailed Design & Engineering for foundations, Embankments, open-cut slopes, retaining structures, reinforced earth (RE) walls.

?Perform geotechnical and structural analysis for tunnels using industry-standard tools (e.g., PLAXIS, FLAC3D, RS2, STAAD, MIDAS).

?Develop tunnel support designs including rock bolts, shotcrete, steel ribs, lattice girders, waterproofing, and segmental linings.

?Conduct stability analysis, deformation assessment, and evaluation of ground-support interaction.

?Prepare design of underground caverns, intake structures, surge shafts, penstocks, adits, and associated works.

?Review and incorporate geotechnical investigation data into design assumptions.

?Preparing technical documents referring to design basis memorandums, codal provisions, and geotechnical interpretation reports and in-situ test results.

?Scrutiny and review of drawings provided by consultant/client and check the constructability as per site condition and preparing construction methodologies based on the detailed drawings and technical specifications.
