JOB RESPONSIBILITY OF PLANT HEAD

Strategic planning & growth 

1) Develop and implement planning to achieve production targets dispatch targets , optimal inventory management .

2) Optimize cost , quality and delivery.

3) Lead time of parts to be kept in check.

Production & Operation 

1) Oversee daily foundry operations including production , maintenance,quality control & dispatches .

2) Ensure optimal utilization of RM , Man power & Equipment .

3) Develop and implement lean manufacturing & best practices for efficiency.

4) New plant installations , commissioning observation and expansion related activities

Plant Expansion

1)    Planning, Scheduling and implementing Capital Plans of the company

Quality control & Process Improvement 

1) Ensure adherence to quality standards & customer specifications.

2) Implement continuous improvement like six sigma , 5S and Kaizen.

3) Address defects and rework.

4) Respond to customer feedback and complaints regarding product quality.

5) Address customer complaints and feedback in a timely manner.

Maintenance and Safety

1) Ensure proper maintenance of furnaces , knockout , other plants and equipment .

2) Implement safety protocol & ensure health and safety .

3) Conduct risk assessment and audit.

Team Leadership

1) Lead, motivate, and manage staff across various departments (production, quality control, maintenance, etc.)

2) Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

3) Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork.

4) Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure a cohesive operation.
