Job Description
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and related software
- Revise and update drawings based on engineer or architect feedback
- Interpret technical specifications and translate concepts into drawings
- Maintain accurate documentation of drawing changes and project versions
- Collaborate with design, engineering, or construction teams to ensure design accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and applicable regulations
- Prepare layouts, diagrams, and schematics for structural, mechanical, or electrical systems
- Required Skills and QualificationsHard skillsProficiency in AutoCAD and technical drafting standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Experience with 2D and 3D design, dimensioning, and scaling
- Familiarity with related software such as Revit, Civil 3D, or SolidWorks (depending on industry)
- Knowledge of industry-specific codes and CAD layer standards
