About the Role

Travel DMC is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Head to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, compliance, and financial planning. Candidates with prior experience in the Travel & Tourism Industry will be preferred.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

 Handle complete accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

 Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger.

 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports.

 Monitor company cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

 Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.

 Ensure timely filing of GST returns and TDS returns.

 Conduct bank reconciliations and vendor/customer reconciliations.

 Supervise billing, invoicing, payment follow-ups, and expense management.

 Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks.

 Manage travel industry accounting including supplier payments, hotel/vendor reconciliations, package costing, and commission handling.

 Lead and manage the accounts team efficiently.

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.

 Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, payroll, and taxation.

 Excellent knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Good communication and leadership abilities.

 Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Educational Qualification

 Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.

 M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or equivalent qualification preferred.

 Accounts or Finance-related educational background required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

 Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

 Candidates from Travel & Tourism industry preferred.

 Ability to independently handle end-to-end accounting operations.

 Professional attitude with team management capability.
