Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Client Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting for international clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and working with cloud accounting software.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for UK and/or US clients
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Handle VAT returns (UK) and/or sales tax (US)
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Work on accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) cycles
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Communicate with clients for queries, updates, and reporting
- Ensure accuracy, deadlines, and compliance with accounting standards

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in UK/US accounting (freshers with strong knowledge can apply)
- Working knowledge of tools like Xero, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sage, or similar
- Good understanding of VAT / sales tax / basic compliance
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Experience working with UK accounting firms or US CPAs
- Knowledge of payroll processing (UK/US)
- Exposure to finalization of accounts and tax filings
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
