Job Description
- Set up and operate CNC machines (Lathe / Milling / Router / Laser / as applicable).
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and manufacturing instructions.
- Prepare and load raw materials and tooling required for machining operations.
- Monitor machining processes to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine controls, offsets, and program parameters.
- Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
- Maintain production logs, machine reports, and quality documents.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and notify seniors of any issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and cleanliness in the workshop.
- Required Skills & QualificationsITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, or related field.
- Strong understanding of machining concepts and CNC operations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-codes & M-codes preferred).
- Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools.
- Good troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail.
- Good to HaveExperience on 3-axis / 5-axis CNC machines.
- Familiarity with CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidCAM).
- Understanding of aerospace/defence-grade machining (bonus).
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
