Position


Writing & Manuscript Editing Associate (Hindi and English)

Graduate + Excellent Hindi/English comprehension + Rewriting ability + Repetition removal skills + MS Word proficiency + Ability to follow an editorial protocol.

Minimum Educational Qualification

Essential

  • Graduate
  • Preferred – Post Graduate

Minimum Skills Required

1. Writing the chapters of academic, fiction, memoir, and biographies.

2- Language Simplification

3- Rewrite paragraphs without changing meaning.

4- Repetition Identification & Removal

5. Basic Editing Skills

Must be able to:

 Correct grammar, Correct punctuation, Improve sentence structure, Maintain consistency, Improve paragraph flow

6. Heading & Subheading Development

7. Academic Source Handling (Basic)

Candidate should understand:

Footnotes, Endnotes, References, Citation markers

8. Computer Skills

Essential:

Hindi and English Typing (high speed)

Intern (₹8,000–15,000/month)

  • Graduate student or recent graduate
  • Good Hindi and English writing
  • Basic editing skills

Junior Manuscript Editor (₹15,000–25,000/month)

  • Graduate
  • 1–3 years writing/editing experience
  • Can independently rewrite chapters

Academic & Book Editor (₹25,000–40,000/month)

  • Strong editing experience
  • Can handle research papers, books, memoirs, biographies, and nonfiction manuscripts independently
