Job Description
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and reliable Field Technician cum Electrician responsible for installation, servicing, and maintenance of Audio-Visual (AV), Video Conferencing, and Electrical systems at client locations. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and willingness to travel.
Key Responsibilities:Install and configure:
- Video Conferencing Systems (VC units, cameras, microphones)
- Interactive Flat Panels, LED Video Walls, Displays
- Projectors and related AV equipment
Perform electrical work including:
- Wiring, cabling, power connections
- Load management and basic electrical troubleshooting
Handle on-site installation:
- Mounting (wall/ceiling), cable routing, conduit work
- Rack installation and system integration
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues at client locations
- Coordinate with internal technical and sales teams for project execution
- Ensure proper testing and commissioning of systems
- Provide basic training/demo to clients after installation
- Maintain service reports, installation checklists, and documentation
- Required Skills:Knowledge of AV systems and video conferencing setup
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring and safety standards
- Ability to read basic technical diagrams and layouts
- Hands-on experience with tools and installation equipment
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and customer handling
- Qualification:ITI / Diploma in Electrician / Electronics / Electrical Engineering
- Relevant certifications in AV or networking (preferred)
- Experience:1–4 years in:
- Field installation
- Electrical work
- AV / IT hardware / networking
- Other Requirements:Willingness to travel frequently
- Physically fit for on-site work (climbing, lifting equipment, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of networking (IP setup, LAN) is an advantage
- Preferred Candidate Profile:Experience in AV industry or system integration companies
- Ability to handle independent site execution
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined
