Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Manager to oversee and manage all fabrication

activities in the plant. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control,

manpower handling, and ensuring timely delivery of fabricated products as per design and

standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fabrication operations (cutting, welding, bending, assembly)

• Plan production schedules and ensure timely execution

• Supervise fabrication team, welders, fitters, and helpers

• Ensure quality standards and inspection procedures are followed

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

• Coordinate with design, purchase, and project teams

• Monitor material usage and reduce wastage

• Ensure safety standards and compliance on shop floor

• Maintain production reports and documentation

• Handle client/site coordination when required

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (MIG, TIG, ARC welding)

• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings

• Good leadership and team management skills

• Knowledge of MS Excel and reporting

• Understanding of quality standards and safety norms

• Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Preferred Industry

• Sheet Metal Fabrication

• Switchgear Panel Manufacturing (HT/LT Panels)

• Heavy Fabrication Industry
