Job Description

  • 1. Project Execution & SupervisionSupervise day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out and finishing works (e.g., gypsum, painting, flooring, carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
  • Ensure all work is carried out as per design specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce project schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • 2. Team & Workforce ManagementCoordinate with subcontractors, workers, and suppliers on site.
  • Manage workforce allocation, shift scheduling, and attendance tracking.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
  • 3. Material & Resource ManagementEnsure timely delivery and proper storage of materials.
  • Check material quality and quantity against BOQ and drawings.
  • Raise material requisitions and track usage.
  • 4. Quality Control & ComplianceInspect work progress and finished work to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
  • 5. Coordination & CommunicationLiaise with project managers, architects, designers, and clients.
  • Coordinate between different trades (civil, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
  • Attend site meetings and prepare reports or updates on project status.
  • 6. Documentation & ReportingMaintain site logs, reports, and daily progress records.
  • Update drawings and documents if changes occur (as-built drawings).
  • Prepare reports on delays, incidents, or changes in scope.
  • 7. Health & SafetyImplement and monitor safety procedures on site.
  • Report and investigate incidents or accidents.
  • Ensure PPE compliance and safe work practices.
