Job Description

Prepare the operation theatre before every surgical procedure.

Sterilize, arrange, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables.

Ensure all OT equipment is functional before surgery.

Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.

Maintain strict aseptic and infection control protocols.

Position patients safely for surgery as instructed.

Handle, clean, and maintain surgical instruments and OT equipment.

Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts before and after surgery.

Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and report shortages.

Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.

Clean and prepare the OT for subsequent procedures.
