Job Description
Sales Engineer – Solid Fuel Fired Boiler Segment
Role Objective
To expand replacement sales of boiler baghouse filters and spares in coal / biomass fired industries.
Key Responsibilities
Target industries running solid fuel boilers.
Identify bag filters installed after boilers.
Promote:
High-temperature filter bags
Cages
Pulse timer panels
Understand flue gas temperature, fuel type, dust characteristics.
Address issues like:
Bag burning
Acid attack
High differential pressure
Generate repeat consumable orders.
Sales Engineer – Induction Furnace / Secondary Steel
Role Objective
To build strong replacement business for dust collector filters used in induction furnace and steel melting shops.
Key Responsibilities
Identify furnace fume extraction baghouses.
Promote:
filter bags
cages
Pulse controllers
Address plant pain points:
Frequent bag failure
High dust load
DP issues
Spark damage
Work closely with maintenance teams.
Develop annual supply contracts.
Candidate Profile
5–7 years experience in induction furnace / steel plant operations or equipment sales.
Strong network in steel clusters.
Practical knowledge of melting shop dust issues.
Aggressive in conversion sales.
Sales Engineer – HVAC Filtration
Role Objective
To build a strong replacement and project-driven business for HVAC air filtration products, including pre filters and fine (pocket) filters, across commercial and industrial segments.
Key Responsibilities
Identify HVAC systems across:
Commercial buildings (malls, hospitals, airports, offices)
Industrial facilities (pharma, food, electronics, cleanrooms)
Promote:
Pre filters (panel / pleated)
Fine filters (pocket / bag filters)
Address customer pain points:
High pressure drop (DP) leading to energy inefficiency
Frequent filter choking and short life
Poor indoor air quality (IAQ)
Improper filter selection or grading
Work closely with:
Facility managers
HVAC contractors
Maintenance and procurement teams
Conduct site surveys and recommend optimized filtration solutions.
Develop annual rate contracts (ARCs) and long-term supply agreements.
Candidate Profile
4–7 years experience in HVAC industry, filtration sales, or facility management.
Strong network among:
HVAC contractors
Facility management companies
Consultants / project engineers
Practical understanding of:
Air filtration grades (G, F series or equivalent standards)
HVAC system performance and pressure drop implications
Strong focus on replacement sales and conversion from existing brands.
Result-oriented and aggressive in closing business.
You should prefer:
# Ex-maintenance engineers
# Ex-service engineers of dust collector companies
# Candidates with strong site experience
Avoid:
# Pure marketing background without plant exposure
# People who have never handled industrial consumables
