Job Description


We are looking for an energetic, result-driven, and experienced Solar Power Plant Marketing Manager to join our growing renewable energy startup. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building strong client relationships, increasing solar project sales, and helping expand our company across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.


The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, market knowledge, and the ability to achieve sales targets in the solar energy industry.



Key Responsibilities


* Generate leads for rooftop and large-scale solar power plant projects.

* Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase company growth.

* Meet residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.

* Explain solar solutions, project benefits, ROI, and government subsidies to customers.

* Conduct site visits and coordinate with technical teams.

* Build partnerships with builders, factories, societies, schools, and businesses.

* Handle customer inquiries and convert leads into successful sales.

* Manage online and offline marketing campaigns.

* Coordinate with digital marketing agencies and field sales teams.

* Prepare quotations, presentations, and project proposals.

* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

* Maintain client database and follow-up records.

* Represent the company at exhibitions, events, and business meetings.



Specific Requirements


Education


* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.


Experience


* 2–5 years experience in solar sales, solar marketing, renewable energy, or related industries preferred.

* Freshers with strong sales confidence and field marketing skills can also apply.


Skills Required


* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Strong understanding of solar power systems and market trends.

* Ability to generate and close leads independently.

* Knowledge of government solar subsidy schemes is a plus.

* Good presentation and client-handling skills.

* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and CRM software.

* Digital marketing knowledge is an added advantage.

Responsibilities


* Search and apply for government & private tenders

* Handle GEM portal bidding and documentation

* Upload quotations, BOQ, EMD, and tender files

* Track tender deadlines and updates

* Coordinate with management for pricing and submissions


Requirements


* Experience in GEM & tender filing

* Knowledge of E-Procurement portals

* Basic Excel & documentation skills

* Solar/EPC industry experience preferred
