Senior AI/ML Engineer - Data & Analytics

Responsibilities: 

We are seeking an experienced java Developer with over 9-12 years of experience specializing in Designing and implementing high-quality scalable and robust technical solutions across all layers of application development, including APIs, application logic, performance.  

• Design and implement high-quality scalable and robust technical solutions across all layers of application development, including APIs, application logic, performance, reliability, persistence, tests, CI/CD, and IaC. 

• Mentor less experienced team members, led by example, and produce high quality code, while adhering to development best practices. 

• Participating in our agile ceremonies and actively driving towards the team’s goals.  

• Analyze user requirements, envision system features and functionality. 

• Working collaboratively with a global team of technologists and business users. 

• Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and deployment) 

• Leading with ideas and innovation. 

• Managing communication and partnering with our end users to design solutions. 

Required Skills: 

• At least 9+ years of total experience with skills using Core Java, Java Restful APIs, Gradle/Maven, Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.  

• Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development  

• Solid understanding and experience with Microservices architecture and design  

• Experience in building server-side applications using J2EE Technologies.  

• Excellent problem-solving skills 

• Experience in building Cloud or Cloud ready applications.  

• Experience with building highly scalable, secure, and fault tolerant microservices.  

• Proficient with database technologies with complex SQL queries (preferably PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server / DB2), including modelling and performance tuning.  

• Highly proficient working in Linux environments.  

• Experience building solutions in Python / Perl and Unix shell such as Bash.  

• Experience with DevOps  

• Competency with source control (preferably Git) and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.  

• Practiced understanding of Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps Integration  

• Strong familiarity with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Highly proficient working in Linux environments.  

• Experience building solutions in Python / Perl and Unix shell such as Bash.  

• Experience with DevOps  

• Competency with source control (preferably Git) and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
