Job Description

  • Machine Setup & Operation: Loading programs (G & M codes), setting offsets, and operating VMC machines.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitoring machine operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) to ensure compliance with blueprints.
  • Tool Management: Selecting, installing, and managing cutting tools.
  • Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
  • Documentation: Recording production data and maintenance logs. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with CNC/VMC programming (G & M codes).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a CNC or VMC Operator.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of machining techniques.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or certifications preferred. 

Common Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
