Job Description
Job Description (JD) – Dosa Master
Position: Dosa Master
Experience: 2–5 years preferred
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare different varieties of dosas (Plain, Masala, Mysore, Rava, Cheese, etc.).
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Prepare and maintain dosa batter, chutneys, and sambhar.
- Manage tawa/griddle operations efficiently during peak hours.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management about inventory requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and follow portion control guidelines.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth order execution.
- RequirementsExperience working as a Dosa Master in a restaurant, hotel, or food outlet.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine.
- Ability to handle high-volume orders.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred SkillsSpeed and accuracy in dosa preparation.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to train junior kitchen staff.
