Job Description
The Logistics Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing all shipping and logistics documentation to ensure smooth and compliant movement of cargo across international and domestic routes. The role requires coordination with internal teams, clients, airlines, shipping lines, and customs authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process shipping documents such as:
* Bill of Lading (B/L)
* Air Waybill (AWB)
* Certificate of Origin
* Shipping Bills & other export/import documents
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
* Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, shipping lines, and CHA (Custom House Agents)
* Track shipments and update clients on status and documentation
* Handle documentation for both Air Freight and Sea Freight shipments
* Verify HS codes, Incoterms, and shipment details
* Maintain proper records and documentation filing (digital & physical)
* Resolve documentation discrepancies and delays proactively
* Assist in customs clearance documentation and processes.
Required Skills & Competencies:
* Strong knowledge of export-import documentation
* Familiarity with Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP)
* Good understanding of customs procedures
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience with logistics software / ERP systems (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and coordination skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Graduate in Commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field
* Certification in Export-Import / Logistics (preferred)
Preferred Industry Experience:
* Freight Forwarding Companies
* Logistics & Supply Chain Firms
