Material Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and organized Material Supervisor to manage inventory, store operations, and material flow. The candidate will ensure proper storage, timely availability of materials, and accurate record-keeping to support smooth production and operations.

• Inventory & Store ManagementMaintain proper stock levels of raw materials and finished goods
• Monitor inward and outward material movement
• Ensure accurate stock records and documentation
• Conduct regular stock verification / physical audits
• 🚚 Material Handling & Coordination
• Coordinate with purchase, production, and logistics teams
• Ensure timely material availability for production
• Manage loading/unloading activities
• Supervise warehouse staff and helpers
• 📊 Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and stock registers
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports
• Work on ERP / Excel for inventory tracking
• 🛡️ Quality & Safety
• Ensure proper storage conditions for materials
• Follow safety and housekeeping (5S) standards
• Identify and report damaged or defective materials
• 👨‍💼 Team Supervision
• Supervise store assistants and workers
• Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
• Maintain discipline and productivity
• 📌 Requirements
• Graduate (B.Com / BBA / any discipline)
• OR Diploma in Mechanical / Supply Chain
• 2–5 years experience in store / warehouse / inventory management
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and documentation
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems
