Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor – Moulding Department Department:

Production Reporting To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Shift Timing: 12-Hour Rotational Shift (Day & Night)

Location: Greater Noida Habibpur, Uttar Pradesh 201306

Job Purpose:

To supervise and control daily production operations in the moulding department ensuring optimal productivity, quality standards, manpower utilization, and adherence to safety and company policies. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management o Plan, allocate, and monitor daily production targets. o Ensure machines are running efficiently with minimal downtime. o Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance of moulding machines. o Maintain daily production and rejection reports. 

2. Quality Control o Ensure moulded parts meet defined quality standards. o Coordinate with QC team to identify and resolve defects or process deviations. o Implement corrective actions to reduce rejections and scrap.

3. Shift Management o Handle shift operations independently (12-hour rotational shift). o Conduct shift handover/takeover with proper documentation. o Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with store/logistics.

4. Documentation & Reporting o Maintain production logs, shift reports, and downtime records. o Report daily production data to Production Manager. o Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory norms.

5. Safety & Housekeeping o Ensure adherence to safety norms and use of PPE. o Maintain cleanliness and organization in the moulding area. o Promote a safe and disciplined work environment.

Key Skills & Competencies:  Knowledge of injection/blow moulding machines and plastic processing.  Leadership and team-handling skills.  Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.  Basic computer literacy (Excel, production reports).  Awareness of safety and quality systems (ISO, 5S, etc.).

Qualification & Experience:  Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Plastic Technology.  Experience: 2 years in moulding/production supervision in a manufacturing unit. Employment Type: Full-Time (Rotational Shift – 12 Hours Day/Night) Salary Range: As per company norms.
