Quality Control Manager

1. QAP: Prepare QAP for every job as required and interact with the customer to get their approval.
2. Incoming inspection: Ensure all raw material and bought out items are inspected as per process.
3. In-process inspection: Co-ordinate with PRO and PRJ to carry out all in-process inspection as applicable.
4. Final inspection and customer co-ordination: Carry out final inspection of the product and raise call letters to customers as applicable. Co-ordinate with them to ensure smooth clearance of the product. If there are any punch points, ensure these are cleared promptly.
5. Job documentation: Ensure the documentation is done as per the job requirement and is submitted in a timely manner.
6. Equipment calibration: Maintain a log of all equipment and tools related to QC and ensure they are properly calibrated.
7. Vendor approval: Carry out vendor inspection to certify/re-certify vendors.
8. Vendor quality rating: Ensure appropriate data is captured for every job executed to be able to rate vendors on a regular frequency.
9. Team management: Motivate and train the team personnel involved in the effective implementation of the QMS. Lead continual improvement initiatives along with the team.
