Job Description: Sales & Marketing ExecutiveRole Overview:
The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and executing local marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of "boots-on-the-ground" field sales and strategic digital outreach to expand the company’s market presence.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business DevelopmentLead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, field visits, and digital networking.Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact and product demonstration to negotiation and closing.Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.Client Onboarding: Ensure a smooth transition for new clients by coordinating with the operations or technical teams.2. Marketing & Brand AwarenessMarket Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging market needs.Campaign Execution: Implement local marketing activities, including BTL (Below the Line) activations, pamphlets, and community events.Digital Presence: Assist in managing social media queries and using platforms like WhatsApp Business for customer engagement.Feedback Loop: Collect and report customer feedback to help refine product offerings and marketing messages.3. Relationship ManagementAccount Management: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and maintain an updated CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales (Field Sales or B2B experience is a plus).Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local regional language.Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Excel and CRM software.Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, resilience, and a result-oriented mindset.Preferred RequirementsMust possess a valid Two-Wheeler License and a personal vehicle for field visits.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience in the SMB (Small and Medium-sized Business) sector is highly valued.Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales Volume: Number of deals closed per month.Conversion Rate: Percentage of leads converted into paying customers.Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Efficiency of marketing and sales efforts.Retention Rate: Percentage of clients who renew or continue services.Does this JD cover the specific industry you're hiring for, or would you like to add some technical requirements?
