Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site
- Execute work as per drawings, plans, and specifications
- Monitor conventional shuttering, reinforcement (steel), and concreting works
- Ensure proper alignment, level, and quality of shuttering work
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
- Check and verify bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement placement
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks as per project schedule
- Maintain site records, daily progress reports, and material consumption reports
- Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Assist senior engineers/project managers in site execution
- Handle basic site measurements and quantity estimation
- Required Skills:
Good knowledge of conventional shuttering techniques
- Understanding of RCC works (footings, columns, slabs, beams)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
