Job Responsibilities of Junior Accountant / Accountant / Sr. Accountant :-

1. Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
3. Handle balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
4. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
6. Coordinate and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
7. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance to support decision-making
8. Supervise and guide junior accounting staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness
9. Manage statutory filings, tax returns, GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements (India-specific if applicable)
10. Identify process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices and controls
11. Prepare MIS reports and present financial insights to management
12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control
