Accountant/ Accounts Executive

We are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented Accountant who will take full ownership of payroll processing, tax compliance, and financial operations in India.

This role is critical to ensure accurate salary payments, compliance with local laws, and proper management of financial records and statutory requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end payroll processing (salary calculations, bonuses, deductions)
• Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement to employees
• Calculate and file all applicable taxes in compliance with Indian regulations
• Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, and other applicable laws
• Maintain and manage financial records, accounting entries, and documentation
• Coordinate with banks for salary payments, transfers, and account-related activities
• Prepare reports related to payroll, expenses, and financial activities
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for audits and regulatory requirements
• Maintain employee payroll records and resolve payroll-related queries
• Stay updated with changes in Indian tax and labor laws
• Requirements3–6 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and tax compliance in India
• Strong knowledge of Indian payroll processes and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.)
• Experience handling end-to-end salary processing for employees
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation
• Experience working with banks and financial transactions
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar)
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the function
• Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a growing company or startup environment
• Exposure to audits and regulatory filings
• Strong understanding of compliance and documentation processes
