Job Description
The Role:
This is a full-time role for an Assistant Fashion Designer or a Fashion Designer hailing from the fashion industry with an eye for detail. This candidate will play a key role in producing graphics, catalogues and tech-packs required during the lifecycle of garment production. Please note that this is an in-person job based in Manesar, Gurgaon.
Roles, Responsibilities and Qualifications:
● Diploma or Bachelor's degree in the field of fashion or graphic designing.
● Work Experience: 1+ years in the industry.
● Required Skills: Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Illustrator & Photoshop)
● Proficiency in English for communication and documentation.
● Create professional and detailed garment tech-pack for sampling and production (including detailed measurements, construction methods, and trim details), while collaborating with the design team.
● Create, edit and maintain product catalogues on Adobe Illustrator.
● Create graphics for surface ornamentations (prints & embroidery), tags, packaging, trims, etc for the garments.
● Revise and iterate the designs based on feedback.
● Coordinate with Pattern Master and Tailors for sampling work.
● Provide any assistance to the lead designer in day to day sampling activities.
● Be involved in sourcing activities example market visits, etc.
